Chamba  is an ancient town in the Chamba district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, in northern India.  Located at an altitude of 996 metres (3,268 ft) above mean sea level, the town is situated on the banks of the Ravi River (a major tributary of the Trans-Himalayan Indus River), at its confluence with the Sal River. Chamba is bounded on north-west by Jammu and Kashmir, on the north-east and east by Ladakh area of Jammu and Kashmir state and Lahaul and Bara-Bangal area of Himachal Pradesh, on the south-east and south by the District Kangra of Himachal Pradesh and Gurdaspur District of the Punjab. Chamba the land of lord Shiva is famous for its untouched natural beauty. The district has Dalhousie, Khajjiar, Chamba Town, Pangi and Bharamour as main tourist destinations. There are five lakes, five wild life sanctuaries and countless number of temples. Chamba, is a small but attractive tourist destination of Himachal Pradesh, is known for its exquisite natural beauty. The place, located amidst picturesque and verdant valleys, is visited by tourist round the year. Sub-Himalayan range of mountains, full of diverse flora and fauna, make Chamba an exhilarating experience. Pleasing climate of the place is another factor why Chamba is one among the popular tourist destinations in the whole of India.

Day 1

ARRIVAL DAY:

Arrive at pathankot Railway Station and transfer by road to chamba town (120)km.10th century famous chamba town. Resplendent with historically and architecturally important buildings chamba town in its temples and Palace. Chamba is the only district in northern india to preserve a well documented history from c 500AD.night stay at hotel at town.

Day 2

CHAMBA TO JHUMAR:

Trek starts though streets and passes thoug villages. A steep sections of 2km is hard to walk .Beautiful view of chamba vallyon the way to jhumar. Then we enter JHUMAR velly. Jhumar is a little hill station surrounded by devdar tree and small hills. Lunch at jhumar camp. We camp here tonight and tomorrow night. After snacks visit to village and back to campsite for dinner and camp fire .

Day 3

ACTIVITY AND SMALL TREK
JHUMAR :

Morning start with fresh up Breakfast and move to adventure activity (rappling ;velly crrosing). Back to camp for lunch. After snacks time proceed to sunset 🌇 point. Back to camp for camp fire and dinner.

Day 4

JHUMAR TO BHALA :

After breakfast gear up to beat the heat with amazing trek to BHALA village. This trek is well marked and passes thoug Historical and traditional village AGAR CHOUGAN. Peer panjal mountain range is not so far from you. Lunch on the way . On the way visit to Khjund lake Srounded by devdar trees .this trek is easy to make sure you. Lunch on the way. Hot drink and snacks at camp. Dinner and camp fire at camp BHALA .

day 5

BHALA TO LAGGA :

After breakfast in the morning we will walk towards our next camp LAGGA. We will start trek and walk down the fields of the village and pass through a mountain stream, there we will have lunch . from there we will pass through the ridge of the hill to the camp via the small village.
We will arrive at base camp LAGGA on five finger mount.where we will enjoy tea and snacks after reaching camp. After dinner we will pick up the hills traditional songs and dance by local artists with camp fire.

Day 6

Departure day
Today is the last day of our camp. After breakfast we will visit saho CHANDERSHEKHAR maharaj 1300 year old temple. After visiting the temple we will towards to khajiyar and Dalhousie. After visit these famous places vehicle drop us pathankot with beautiful and never ending memories of our trip.
